staff reports

The women’s tennis team has two matches remaining in the regular season with the individual conference tournament in Gastonia next week. The team’s record this season is 3-5 and 2-3 in conference play.

“We have a talented team this year with senior Kristen Husen playing in the number one position, said Coach Rita Stroud. “Our team has lost three matches 4-5 this season. If we had scored only four points we would be 6-2. Those close ones are tough to lose. “
